Rebates
All sessions are claimable if you have private health insurance EXTRAS. Fund claims are processed on the day of your visit via the HICAPS system.
We welcome Workcover and TAC clients, however, you are required to pay on the day of your visit and the onus is on you to claim back from your insurer. Clients may be out of pocket, as your insurance may not cover the full cost of the appointment.
Written communication by your physiotherapist on your behalf may incur a fee and can take 1-2 days to complete from day of lodgement.
Cancellation Policy
Coastal Balance Physio Torquay understands how valuable your time is and we will strive to make sure that we are not late for your appointment. We would appreciate the same level of courtesy.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment time, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, so that we can offer your time to another client in need. If you fail to provide 24 hours notice, we are obligated to charge you the full fee of the consultation, as your physiotherapist will have lost that time slot and will not be paid for his or her time.
If you happen to arrive late, but in your allotted appointment time, you may have a shorter consultation, so as not to inconvenience awaiting clients. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise occasionally, and we will do our best to reach an accommodation that will benefit both you and your physiotherapist.
Medicare
We accept referrals from your general practitioner for a chronic care management plan (CCMP). You will need to bring in the referral from your doctor, as well as your Medicare card and a bank card to accept the Medicare rebate which currently sits at $61.80.
It is important to note that you will need to pay the full fee of your consult up front and then we will rebate the $61.80 onto your preferred bank card immediately after full payment has been received.
NDIS
We are a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. Please bring your case manager’s email and/or contact details for billing purposes. We will email an invoice to your case manager upon completion of your consultation with our payment details enclosed and we appreciate fulfilment of the outstanding amount within 5 business days.
